Experiences

We cherish community and community spaces as vibrant hubs for gathering, creating, moving, storytelling, celebrating uniqueness, gaining inspiration, fostering a sense of belonging, and thriving together. Most of our community offerings involve an emphasis on being present, including the separation of ourselves from our phones and outside digital experiences.

  • Guided Drawing® for Healing the Healer

    Saturday, April 5th | 2pm - 4pm

All materials will be provided and are covered in the workshop fees.

This experience is offered to adults (21+) working in healing and caregiver professions/roles to help support self-care, self-awareness, and self-respect. Participants will be welcomed with a short meditation, and then guided through a movement-based drawing process that uses chalk pastels & oil crayons to create marks with both hands simultaneously and with eyes closed. Attendees will be introduced to various movements that help release tension and reach a feeling of wholeness to help further support body mindfulness and appreciation. Groups are limited to 10 participants at a time to maintain support and attention.

  • Storylines: A START Book Club

The club will meet for 2 hours and will include:

Creative arts activities to explore the story and its relationship to life and meaning-making.

Time for open discussion and shared insights.

Quiet moments for individual reading and reflection.
